My first post

Welcome to my food blog! "Food blog?" you may ask. "What the?" As you may know, I love to eat. More accurately I love to experience all manner of different food. I enjoy foreign cuisine as well as unique local finds, and I like to share my experiences. as it stands, I see the blog taking on a couple of different formats depending on my mood. I will either blog about a dining experience that I found interesting, or I may write a favorites post. All righty, here goes.

Today I accompanied frequent dining companions Brian and Charlene to one of my favorite coffee spots in Lynchburg; The Muse (.http://themusecoffeeco.com/)

For lunch I enjoyed a sandwich with melty cheese, craisins (dried cranberries), pesto, and turkey on toasted sourdough. Delish! The Muse offers a bottmless cup of gourmet coffee for about $2. I had 2 cups of Tanzanian Peaberry which was a lighter roast with a nutty taste. For my final cup i enjoyed a cup of the Sumatra blend. Sumatra is a dark roast with a tobacco-y bitterness. It was strong and delicious!
